Worlds of Fun

The boys had been wanting to go to Worlds of Fun all summer long!! While we didn't go in the summer, we managed to squeak in one quick trip on the last day of the season (discounted tickets- score!!!!) The weather was gorgeous- a tad chilly- and our favorite ride, the Viking Voyager was closed for the season, but we had an AWESOME time!!!
Lots of fun rides, festive sights, and a whole lot of fun!

Wyatt rode his first major rollercoaster- Spinning Dragons!!! He squealed and giggled and grinned from ear to ear!!!

Halloween School Parties

I'm room mom for Wyatt's class this year, which was so hard for me! After being room mom in Grant's class the last two years, its hard to not be involved in both parties! Luckily I was able to sneak down and check on Grant's party for a quick second! Wyatt's class is so much fun! Such good kids! We played some games, did some crafts, ate some snacks, and that was that!!! That was the perfect combination for a Happy Halloween Party!!
Wyatt dressed for the occasion heading to school!!

Halloween School Parade

This was our first experience with the Halloween School Parade as it should be! Grant did it alone as a class in Kindergarten and then last year it rained, so it was neat to see what they really get to do! The whole school takes part and its so fun!! I helped the kindie kids get changed, so I only got to see Grant for a quick second during the parade, but I captured his costume perfectly!! Wyatt was second in the line in the entire parade, so they got a front row to watch the rest of the kids walk through after they went around the school! What a fun community building experience!!!

FHSU Football Game!

It's nice to be able to make a visit to Hays to visit with the Broeckelman Family and to catch a Fort Hays State University game!! We happened to pick a beautiful weekend! The weather was just perfect for some cousin fun and football enjoyment!!
Uncle Levi spoiled all the kids with snow cones and popcorn!!
Super lucky kids to have their Uncle Cooper (or dad!) as the Defensive Coordinator, so we could do cool stuff after the game, like run around in the practice arena!!!

Harvest Hustle

This was our first time at the Mother-Son Harvest Hustle. We didn't make it last year, so I was excited to be attending with Grant and Wyatt this year!! It's a minute-to-win-it type evening, with lots of games and tickets, and auctions. We started off at the Pizza Shoppe with a little pre-party and then headed to the big event at school. We had a great time play games, trying to win some prizes- Wyatt won a door prize- a basketball!!! Everyone had a super fun time and we will definitely be making this a yearly event for us!!!
That's a lot of boys and A LOT of nose!!! Fortunately for us, many of the 2nd grade boys also have Kindergarten brothers! Win-win!!!

Louisburg Cider Mill

After our busy day at KC Pumpkin Patch, the line for donuts was really long, so we decided to leave without donuts, which made Grant extremelly disappointed! So when I realized we had a Friday off school, we decided to head to the Louisburg Cider Mill in the morning for donuts!!! We invited Ace and Christine to come along, because its always more fun with friends!
It was cold and wet outside, but we had a great time anyway! While extremely overpriced, its a fall tradition that just can't be passed up! We played on the playgrounds, went through the corn maze (a little bit), went on a hay ride, and ate LOTS of donuts!!! Another successful year at the Cider Mill!

Wood Builders

The boys have been enjoying playing in the scrap wood from the clubhouse renovation. Grant is always asking to go build something! Last weekend, Levi bought them each their first real hammer, so of course they were dying to get their hands on some nails. I had run out to do some errands and came back to find their amazing creations!
Grant made a G just for him and Wyatt made a cross "that will look perfect with Christmas lights on it." Levi loves that they are getting into things like this!! I love it too- it will make their wife very happy someday to have a handy hubby!!

KC Pumpkin Patch

It's been a long time since we've been to the pumpkin patch as a family, so I made sure we got that on our calendar early on! Luckily, we picked a beautiful morning to head out to the KC Pumpkin Patch. I wanted more activities and less pumpkins since we had already bought our pumpkins at Walmart. I know, shame on me. But seriously can't beat $3 for a super huge pumpkin!! But I still wanted a fun fall experience! The KC Pumpkin Patch had so many activities, although Grant was probably on the large side for about 50% of the activities! But we still managed to have a super fun time!!

Kindergarten Field Trip!

I love a good kindie field trip!! But going to the pumpkin patch is one of my faves!! Especially when we get to go to Johnson Farms! I would never pay of our family to do that because its is SO expensive, but field trip prices are acceptable!!! They do have a ton of fun things to do, so its always a good time!!! We had so much fun with our friends, walking around the patch and looking for the perfect pumpkin!!!
