Oh how we love going to The Nutcracker. My mom and I have been numerous times together, and we still want to go see it each and every year. But there was no way we could afford to go to the Kansas City Ballet this year. The boys were so disappointed, because after their trip to the Nutcracker two years ago, they have been begging and begging to go back. So when I saw that The American Youth Ballet was putting on a performance at JCCC, I knew that was our chance. I surprised all three of them with the tickets and we couldn't wait for the day to come! When the day did come, we woke up to the threat of bad weather- snow and ice. Luckily we don't live to far from JCCC so we knew we would take the risk of driving there! We had great seats to watch an adorable performance! We all loved it just as much the KCB performance!
