Grant got invited to go to a Royal's game with Jalen, to celebrate his birthday. He was soooo excited! He hadn't been to a baseball game since he was 3.5. Not that he cares about baseball in the slightest, but since the Royals are kind of a big deal right now and there's a lot of buzz and he has caught on that it would be COOL to go to a game! When he found out his other buddy was going too, and they were going to a night game, so they could stay up late AND watch fireworks, he was so pumped!!
I went to give him a haircut that morning and he asked for a mohawk, so I went a head and said yes. I texted Jessica and told her I was hoping we weren't going to start a bad trend, but turns out Jalen just got a mohawk the day prior! And then Eli had been begging for one too, so turns out all three best buddies sported mohawks for the big occasion!!
They enjoyed peanuts, cotton candy, icees, fireworks, and hot dogs and Pepsi (well, Grant skipped those last two). They didn't get home til 11:15 and while he was so tired, he had such a smile on his face!! What a fun night with friends!!
