Millie and the Christmas Tree

I wasn't sure what Millie would think of the Christmas decorations, but she LOVES the trees. Proof she was meant to be part of the Broeckelman family!!! Every chance she gets, she's laying by the tree. I can't blame her- I love doing the same thing!!

Kindie Field Trip to Hen House

Kindergarten has had quite a few field trips this year and I've been able to attend each one! I love that they open each field trip to all the parents! This day, we met at Hen House. They discussed the different food groups as they walked around each section of the store. They also got to try a food from that food group. I was so proud of Wyatt trying some foods he was scared to try! He tried ham!! HAM!!!

1st Place Wyatt!!!

Wyatt had his first meet of the 2016-2017 season! During practices the few weeks before, I had kind of felt like he was "rusty" or maybe was dealing with a growth spurt and trying to handle a few extra pound and inches, but I was thinking maybe his meet wasn't going to turn out so great. Well, insert foot in mouth. This kid ROCKED his meet!! Like, knocked the socks off everyone and left them in his dust!!! He nailed all 6 events!! He even did a round-off back-handspring in his floor routine- which he did in all his meets last year, but hadn't practiced them at the gym all summer. He did them all day long on the trampoline at home, but never attempted at practice. On our drive to the meet, he kept saying he was going to do it, but I thought he was all talk! Nope (insert foot in mouth again!)!! 

It was an AWESOME way to kick off the meet season! So very proud of our Gold Medal winner!!!

Grant's Stuffed Animal Christmas Party

Since they put up their tree the first weekend in November, Grant had been "wrapping" presents for his stuffed animals. He'd wrap up something, label it with a blue post it note, and put it under the tree. Every night he'd load up the tree with more and more presents! Then finally, one night before bed, he decided he was ready for all his friends to open their gifts! Oh my goodness, my heart melted a little bit as he sat with each of his animals and "watched" them open their gifts. His little voice is forever imprinted on my heart!! He truly has a love for his stuffed friends. Such a sweet innocent little boy that I hope never changes!!!

Family Pictures 2016

I try and get our family pictures taken once a year, but I didn't think it was going to be in the cards this year. That is, until my moms group offered mini sessions for a great deal! I jumped on it and am so thankful we did!! I only got two prints, but didn't need anymore after seeing these!

We were heading out to get our family pictures taken and the boys decided they needed a little photoshoot with some of their furry friends!!! I love their love of their stuffed friends!!!!

This cuteness can't even really be described! We were getting ready to head out to get our family photos taken and the boys asked for a mini shoot before with their animals. Their poses, their ideas. My heart swelling!

Haul Out the Lights!

Oh, outside Christmas outs! How we love them!!! The boys, mainly Levi, couldn't wait to get the lights out of the basement and starting planning the great Christmas Light Display of 2016!!! Lots of work and effort goes into getting our display up and running!!!! 

Can't wait to see what the final product will look like!
